Northend Youth 0 Portrush 5 Saturday 26th April 2014

This scoreline flattered Portrush as the Northend team played very well in this game and controlled large parts of the game and they created lots of chances but could not finish them. From the first whistle Northend looked comfortable with the ball and the link up play from Conor McKillop, Ciaran Martin and Sam Crawford was causing problems for the Portrush defence and with Niall Devine and Dara Killough dealing well with the Portrush front line, but things changed when a Portrush player got in behind the defence to slot home and the same thing happened again just before the half. Half time score 0-2

Into the second half, and Northend conceded a early goal from a corner to put Portrush 3-0 infront. However the Blues kept playing and should have scored when Conor McKillop shot at goal forcing the Portrush keeper into a save and they could of scored again but it was Portrush who added two more goals against the run of play when Northend failed to clear the ball away. Great performance from the U10 team Final score 0-5

Northend Youth 2 Coleraine Alexander 3 Saturday 12th April 2014

This was a great game of football with both teams putting on a first class display of football with Coleraine the better team in the first half and they raced into a two goal lead and Northend the better team in the second half pulling it back too two each and they really should of finished of Coleraine with the chances they created. At fulltime the score was level and extra time kicked in with the golden goal rule set in place and it was Coleraine who went on to score within two minutes to break the Northend U10 teams hearts.

This was a game that Peacock controlled from start to finish with their constant running with and without the ball causing problems all over the pitch for the Northend team.

Northend Youth 3 Ballymoney Development 0 Saturday 22nd March 2014

This was a entertaining game from start to finish with both teams missing loads of chances especially in the first half, with Northend missing the most. Northend really should have had this game over by half-time with the chances that they created. Ballymoney looked dangerous on the counterattack but they too were unable to find the net. It took until the last minute of the first half for Northend to break the deadlock when Liam Allen finally found the back of the net when he skipped pass the two Ballymoney defenders to crack a great shot into the Ballymoney goal. Half time score 1-0

Northend again were the stronger team in the second half but again they could not finish the chances that they were creating with the post and crossbar coming to Ballymoney's rescue as well as their keeper pulling of some good saves. The more the game went on the more Northend were looking like they were going to add to their tally and Liam Allen added two more goals to get his hat-trick and finish the game off. Great performance from the Northend boys and the Ballymoney boys Final score 3-0

Northend Youth 2 Limavady Colts 6 Saturday 8th March 2014

Northend went infront as early as the second minute when Lewis Hector fired a unstoppable shot into the bottom corner of the Limavady goal. Limavady pulled level when the Northend defence pushed up to far and when a ball was played over the top the big Limavady striker finished well with a great shot. Northend then got sloppy with their passing and fell further behind with Limavady adding two more goals before halftime. Half time score 1-3

The second half got worse for Northend as they continued to give the ball away and Limavady were able to score three more goals before Ciaran Martin for the second week in a row scored the goal of the game when he dribbled the ball around three players before coolly chipping the ball over the Limavady keeper. Final score 6-2
